Photography with classic lens

My photos are made with vintage manual focus lenses. I collect and adapt lenses from old video projectors, photographic enlargers, anamorphic lenses, pre-cinema, old folding cameras and I even use lenses that equipped airplanes. The oldest lens I use is 128 years old. I love the process of finding an old, broken, odd, even weird lens. Cleaning, repairing, adapting and getting to work, on a digital modern camera. I believe, using classic lens and adapted lens can make the difference between a great photo and a unique photo.

VINTAGE PRINTS

I am recycling no longer wanted vintage prints. Mostly sold in boot sales, or thrown way in skips. I like to create several layers, glued with wheat paste. Creating the visual effect of over-layered old street posters. Then, I use lino block prints to create a mosaic pattern looking piece. During the creation process, I normally print a few t-shirts just for fun.

3D DECOUPAGE

This is a project that I am really keen on pushing forward. I will be accepting requests to create more pieces. This kind of work is perfect for a photo that represents a memory from the past. The 3D perspective effect will bring those memories back to life. I am considering the option of sending the work without a frame, so it can be done locally according to personal taste and saving money on shipping.
